BACKGROUND

Born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. Lived in the U.S. from 1989 to 1996年. Returned to Japan and worked in an IT company based in the U.S. as a secretary. Relocated to Budapest, Hungary, at the end of 2000 and I have been working as a freelance translator ever since. For my earlier work experiences, please send me a request for my CV.

FROM ORDER TO DELIVERY

1. Customer sends me an enquiry as to the assignment required and the desired deadline and other instructions.
2. I send a reply as to my availability and a quote (free of charge).
3. Customer places an order.
4. I complete the assignment and deliver the product with queries and comments if any.
5a. Customer accepts the product as-is.
5b. Customer checks the queries and comments and if Customer provides feedback within 6 days, I will make corrections free of charge.

CHARGE AND PAYMENT

❖ I send a list of service fees or a quote upon request (including a fuzzy match grid using Trados).
❖ VAT is not be charged whether inside or outside Hungary (EU VAT ID registered).
❖ Preferred method of payment is bank transfer, but payment by PayPal is accepted.
Payment is due within 30 days from the date of invoice.

NOTES

❖ I adhere to the agreed delivery date and time.
❖ I strictly comply with confidentiality requirements and I am willing to sign NDA.
I practice my right to express political opinions on Twitter, but I remain fully neutral when working on my assignments.
❖ Translation is provided as a convenience for Customer to understand contents in the original languages, and I shall not be held liable for any damage caused by it.
❖ Hungary is in the Central European Time zone (UTC+1).
